Reema Lagoo passes away in Mumbai

Veteran actress Reema Lagoo has passed away at the age of 59 after suffering a cardiac arrest in Mumbai.

The actress known as Bollywood’s favourite mother, played a range of roles including memorable parts in films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. She was also a part of Star Plus’ popular ongoing series ‘Naamkarann’.

Lagoo had complained of chest pains, after which she was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital but passed away shortly later.
