Reality show ‘Shark Tank India’ to spruce up Sony TV’s weekday schedule

Sony TV is set to launch reality TV series ‘Shark Tank India’ as its big replacement show for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ this month.

‘Shark Tank India’ is as Indian adaptation of the hit US TV series and based on ‘Dragon’s Den’ aired in the UK. The show is produced by Studio NEXT for Sony TV. It focusses on budding entrepreneurs who will be mentored by one of the seven “Sharks”.

‘Shark Tank India’ hosted by Rannvijay Singha, features Ashneer Grover, founder and managing director of BharatPe, Vineeta Singh, CEO and co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics, Peyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart.com, Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, Ghazal Alagh, co-founder and chief mama of Mamaearth, Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt.

‘Shark Tank India’ will air on Sony TV from Monday 20th December at 22:00 (UK) and 21:00 (India).
