Salman Khan’s superhit romantic comedy ‘Ready’ will be getting its exclusive world TV premiere on Colors in September, BizAsia.co.uk can confirm.
The box office moneyspinner is likely to air at the end of September. The film remains the biggest grosser this year at the time of filing this article. It was released in June. ‘Ready’ also stars Asin and Paresh Rawal. Incidently, Colors also broadcast the premiere of Salman Khan’s ‘Dabbang’ earlier this year.
Colors has also acquired the rights for Yash Raj Films’ ‘Badmaash Company’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. This is the second Yash Raj title it has bought after ‘Lafangey Parindey’. ‘Badmaash Company’ was earlier shown on Sony Entertainment Television Asia, which has been the exclusive TV partner for Yash Raj Films thusfar.
Also in September, Colors will be launching two new shows – ‘Veer Shivaji’ in the weekend slot and ‘Havan’, which is likely to replace ‘Hamari Saas Leela’.
