Raveena Taurani to debut in ‘Ishq Vishk 2’?

Raveena Taurani, otherwise known as the cousin of Girish Kumar, is soon to make an entry into Bollywood and will be launched by none other than her own father, Ramesh Taurani, as BizAsiaLive.com reported previously. The latest is that the movie will be a sequel to ‘Ishq Vishk’ (2003) and will mark the directorial debut of cinematographer, Amit Roy.

Reportedly, producers of the film had been working on the sequel with ‘Ishq Vishk’ director, Ken Ghosh, for a while, however no real progress was made until Roy joined the crew. With a fresh pair of eyes, it seems some changes are expected in the sequel. For instance, although names have not yet been revealed, the buzz is a new actor will star opposite Taurani and the plot is also said to differ from the original film, which saw a fresh-faced Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasurywala making their big Bollywood break.

Now that the script has been finalised by Roy, who was also the cinematographer for ‘Ishq Vishk’, it is believed shooting will commence in Shimla by January.
