Raveena Tandon as Hanuman’s mother
Raveena Tandon will now be seen playing Hanuman’s mother. Yes, the gorgeous girl doesn’t look like she could ever pass off as Hanuman’s mom but here is the catch – she wont be in the film at all! Bamboozled? Well, we are talking about an animated film called ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’, where both Salman Khan and Tandon will be giving voice overs to the animated characters in the film.
While Khan will be portraying the grown up Hanuman with a heart of gold, Tandon will be essaying the role of little Hanuman’s mother. What a coup really!
“The film is all about young Hanuman’s journey into becoming who he was meant to be, but at first he will be shown as any other kid which will make the kids relate a lot with him,” shared our source.
The film directed by Ruchi Narain is the second in the ‘Hanuman…’ franchise and is said to be turning mythology into literature that the kids today will understand and appreciate.
Releasing on 19th May, ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’ seems to be a winner already.
