Raveena Tandon compares herself to Kareena Kapoor

The much-loved actress Raveena Tandon is very much a part of the bunch of actresses set to comeback in 2012. Although she has not ruled out returning properly to the big screen herself, Tandon says that she was once in Kareena Kapoor’s shoes.

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, she candidly stated, “Where Kareena (Kapoor) is today, Lolo (Karisma Kapoor) and I were a decade ago. We�۪ve been there, done that. Today, I have evolved as a person. I now choose only roles that suit my personality”.

Tandon also commented on the role of ‘Gulab Gang’ which was initially offered to her but eventually went to Madhuri Dixit, “Yes, but I preferred the negative role to the one offered to me. And I was going to do the film, but later, there were changes made in my role, which I didn�۪t want. I hope the film does well”.

Well, one can only hope that after her blink-and-you-miss-it part in last year’s ‘Bbuddah Hoge Terra Baap’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan, producers approach her��with the kind of role she deserves.
