Raveena Tandon awarded by Festival of Globe

Raveena Tandon who is working on her latest project with Ashtar Sayed’s ‘The Mother‘��was recently felicitated for her contribution towards the empowerment of the girl child by the Festival of Globe (FOG) in Silicon Valley, San Francisco.

According to��Bollywood Hungama,��the actress said,”It gives me immense pleasure to receive this award. I am proud to join hands with Festival of Globe in their fight against sex crimes and their drive for empowering youth towards a brighter tomorrow”.

FOG is an annual event with an aim to empower and integrate global cultures and communities through Film Arts, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Folk Arts. This year, FOG had taken up the cause of empowering youth to fight sex crimes.

The actress is known for her work towards women’s rights.
