Rashami Desai opens up about her sudden exit from ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’
Earlier this week, news of Rashami Desai’s sudden exit from her show ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ shocked the viewers. The actress has recently come forward to clarify the situation surrounding her unceremonious departure from the show.
“The track of Shorvori did not match the brief and frankly, unacceptable changes have taken place in the show which affected my character directly. I was not convinced, so decided to exit.”, Desai told SpotboyE, “Colors’ creative team and Shashi-Sumeet have agreed to my decision. I believe, every project that I take up should have a happy and beautiful start and end. And it’s true, I didn’t know it was my last day in ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ till I went on-set. I always considered the team like a family so I can drift away with peace.”
Her last day on set was reportedly 16th April. The show is planning to take a 7-year leap without Desai’s character Shorvori Bhanushali, and will introduce Iqbal Khan as a new character opposite Jasmin Bhasin.
