Ranveer-Varun contending to replace Shahid Kapoor on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Ja’?

BizAsia reported not long ago that it could well be that Shahid Kapoor no longer appears on popular TV show ��Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa�۪ which will be in its ninth season. Now, it�۪s being rumoured that the organisers are wanting either Varun Dhawan or Ranveer Singh to step into his shoes.

Interestingly, Kapoor�۪s involvement in the last season was a high for the show with many viewers tuning in just for him, making his small screen debut a successful one. Dhawan and Singh are both of a strong fan following and it would definitely put yet another spotlight on the show.

It remains to be seen who ends up on the judging panel alongside Karan Johar. Rumours have also suggested that Jacqueline Fernandez has been approached to replace Malaika Arora Khan.
