With excitement surrounding Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding reaching fever pitch, it has been reported that Singh’s friends will be ripping off his clothes as a part of the Sindhi wedding tradition.

Its already been reported that Singh has had his secret bachelor’s party in Orlando this week, ahead of their big day rumoured to be in November. Now Spotboye reveals that the typical Sindhi custom called Saanth will involve Singh’s closest friends and relatives ripping off his clothes before the couple exchange their wedding vows.

The report adds that Saanth is a traditional yet unconventional Sindhi wedding custom, where the groom-to-be’s closest friends and relatives first oil his hair. He is then made to wear a shoe, only on his right foot and then break an earthen pot with that foot. The madness ensues, soon after.
