Ranveer Singh takes two-week holiday in UK

The last time Ranveer Singh was in the UK, he caused many a fan frenzy during the promotions of ‘Befikre’ earlier this year. Now, the actor is reported to be visiting the country to wind down.

Singh, who was recently spotted exiting a hospital with a bandage on his head, injured himself on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. However, it seems he is now on a two-week break from his schedule, without disrupting the shoot of the film. According to Pune Mirror, Singh will be watching the Real Madrid v/s Juventus UEFA Champions League final match at the Millenium Stadium on 3rd June, being the sports fanatic he is. He is also going to be spending time catching up with friends and generally just taking in the surroundings.

Singh will be returning to ‘Padmavati’ when he returns to India. His spokesperson said, “Ranveer has been totally focussed and giving his all to the character, Alauddin Khilji. It was SLB who recommended the rejuvenating trip as the entire crew of Padmavati agreed that Ranveer needed this break”.

This time, alleged ladylove Deepika Padukone will not be joining her beau on his Europe trip and neither will he be travelling anywhere else on the continent apart the UK.
