Ranveer Singh to star in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next?

Ranveer Singh will reportedly be starring in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s next film.

DNA India reports that the director is planning two projects – one is a sports film based around kabaddi and the second one is about a father and son relationship. It is not yet clear, which film Singh will feature in. He is already doing Kabir Khan’s sports film ’83’, in which he plays cricketer Kapil Dev.

A source said, “Ranveer and Rakeysh met and discussed about working together. The filmmaker has bounced off the ideas to Ranveer, but nothing has been locked yet. They are going to have a few more meetings before they zero in on the film.”

Singh also has ‘Simmba’ and ‘Gully Boy’ in the offing.
