Ranveer Singh to star in Karan Johar’s period film?

After featuring in some of the biggest epic dramas under the helm of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it now seems that Ranveer Singh will be working in a period drama with Karan Johar.

Filmfare reports a source saying, “Karan has been thinking of making a period film for quite some time now and seeing Ranveer’s performance in his previous period dramas has left him impressed. Karan and Ranveer have spoken about the project and may announce the same soon.”

Meanwhile, Johar is currently working on his other period drama ‘Kalank’, which is due out next April.
