Ranveer Singh, who injured himself on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ recently, will be having shoulder surgery tomorrow (4th April) which will render him out of action for a month, BizAsia has learnt.

The actor’s surgery is expected to take place at 8am, according to Mumbai Mirror. Singh will need physiotherapy after the operation and will only be allowed to shoot for scenes minus any physical action when he returns to work at the start of May.

Singh stated that Bhansali is giving him his full support. The actor has apparently been consulting various experts in the sub-continent and internationally to be sure that his surgery was the way he should do. He said, “I’m going about my rehabilitation aggressively and diligently and looking forward to getting back on the set soon”.

Singh injured his shoulder when he fell of a horse. He was taken to hospital at the time where is was confirmed that there was no fracture.

Singh’s next film is ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ which is a film many are looking forward to. It’s slated for release on 5th June.
