Ranveer Singh says no to ‘Singh is Kinng’ sequel

Ranveer Singh has declined to star in the sequel to ‘Singh is Kinng’ (2008). The actor had been rumoured to step into Akshay Kumar’s shoes for the follow-up titled ‘Sher Singh’.

Singh had met with producer Shailendra Singh and had loved the narration of the story. However, according to mid-day.com, the actor declined the role as he is already playing a sardar in Maneesh Sharma’s next film.

The producer was surprised to receive the call from Singh’s manager declining the offer but is meeting other actors for the sequel. No official comment has been made by Singh or his management.
