Ranveer Singh pauses ‘Padmavati’ for ‘Befikre’ promos

Ranveer Singh is definitely a busy man. Not only has he been shooting for ‘Padmavati’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, but he is also gearing up for Aditya Chopra’s ‘Befikre’ which releases on 9th December. The actor will be putting the latter in focus for the next few weeks and the former on pause.

Singh began shooting for ‘Padmavati’ but it seems when his alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone begins her part of the shoot, he will be elsewhere. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Sanjay Bhansali starts shooting with Deepika at a time when Ranveer gets busy with the promotion of Aditya Chopra’s Befikre. Ranveer will be heading to various Indian cities and countries abroad with his co-star Vaani Kapoor, including a Parisian promotion and premiere, in the next few weeks as Deepika gets busy with Padmavati”.

A similar thing happened when Singh was shooting for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) as he had to take off for ‘Kill Dil’ (2014) which released during the schedule. The source concluded, “When it comes to Ranveer Singh there is always a give and take between Yash Raj Films and SLB Productions”.

Singh will be in the UK in just over a week for promotions but he will also be flying with his co-star Vaani Kapoor to Paris. No doubt promotions within the sub-continent will also take up his time.

‘Befikre’ releases on 9th December.
