Ranveer Singh: “I’d wait a lifetime for Deepika Padukone”

While there has been trouble reported between alleged lovers Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the popular actor said he would wait a “lifetime” for Padukone.

Earlier there were rumours that Padukone is not giving Singh the commitment he desires. However, at an event yesterday for the promotion of ‘Bajirao Mastani’, the two actors arrived late due to bad weather. Singh jokingly said, “I was told that people have been waiting since 9 am for us. But Deepika is so beautiful I would wait a lifetime for her.”

So while they continue to dodge questions about their relationship status, the sizzling chemsitry on and off screen is evident.

‘Bajirao Mastani’ releases in December – clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’. She was cited on NDTV saying, “I don’t understand the business perspective. I think there is a place for both films. Our job is to work just as an actor not to get into all this.” Ranveer’s comment was shorter and crisp: “I am an actor and can understand only acting. Can’t say anything on clash.”
