Ranveer Singh is the male lead of this week’s forthcoming release ‘Befikre’. The actor, who is cast opposite Vaani Kapoor, is always described as the most energetic. When asked whether he feels a pressure of keeping up this energy, he expressed he is on a searching journey too.

“Even I don’t know who the real Ranveer is, as even I am going through the constant process of exploring who I am. Sometimes, I feel I am crazy and have some sort of personality disorder (laughs). There’s no pressure to keep it up, as it [my image] is not designed or calculated. A couple of years ago, I realised that it is taxing and takes too much effort to do things by design. In my first two years in the industry, I wasn’t like this. But then, it dawned on me that this is a better, simpler way of being. It has become so easy; I say and do whatever I want,” said Singh, in a recent interaction with Hindustan Times.

Singh also explains that he often likes to be by himself too, “Yes, I think when I go out and meet people, I love it and I am fascinated by people. But at the end of the day, when work is done, I like to spend time with myself. Even in a day, there are two extremes and then at some point in a year, I want to take a break and don’t want to have anything to do with anyone. I enjoy going under the radar. It rejuvenates me.”

‘Befikre’ releases on 9th December, directed by Aditya Chopra.
