Ranveer Singh getting to know Aditya Chopra as director

Ranveer Singh will be the second actor to be directed by Aditya Chopra and he’s been vocal about his excitement about the film ‘Befikre’. Singh recently spoke about getting to know Chopra as a director, as opposed to the producer through Yash Raj Films.

Talking at TOIFA, Indian Express report Singh saying, “I am now getting to know him (Aditya) in a completely different capacity��_ Having worked with him for five years in a particular capacity”.

He further added, “I would say our relationship has become very substantial in the past few months as we have collaborated as actor-director and I have understood that why he is one of the biggest directors of Hindi cinema”.

Singh was also asked if he would follow in the footsteps of his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone in taking a leap towards the West. He replied, “Right now I am really enjoying the work here that I am doing in Hindi films. I am in collaboration with some really exciting filmmakers. So I am thoroughly enjoying the kind of work that is in the pipeline for me in the coming years.”

Singh bagged the best actor trophy at TOIFA which took place in Dubai on 18th March.
