As far as South remakes go, Bollywood has never failed to be inspired. With news that Rohit Shetty’s next will be a little like Telugu film ‘Temper’ (2015) comes reports that the film ‘Arjun Reddy’ (2017) – touted as a modern-day ‘Devdas’ – will be remade in B-town. News has it that Ranveer Singh may be taking up the role.
If rumours are to believed than meetings have already been happening. A source informed DNA, “The producers have met Ranveer and he has shown a lot of interest in the project. They will show him the film in the next couple of days and a decision will be made.”
‘Devdas’ has been put on celluloid many times but it seems this one might be a different take altogether.
