Ranveer Singh denies dispute with Karan Johar

Kill Dil - Ranveer Singh 340x

When news hit that Ranveer Singh chose to do Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film over Karan Johar’s, there was much talk about how the equation between the actor and Johar has soared.

However, when questioned on this matter by the media, Singh was prompt to put rumours to rest and expressed that all is well between the two. “He۪s a superb guy. He۪s an actor, dancer and director; he۪s a producer with a creative mind, and he has a writer۪s mind. So, I think he۪s a wholesome entertainer. I۪m really looking forward to his next as an actor. Other than that, he really cracks me up every single time I meet him. He meets me very warmly. I have always wanted to work with his production house because it is one of the (country۪s) premier production houses,” Hindustan Timesreported Singh stating.

He came onto the scene with a bang in ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ (2010) and has managed to impress critics, audiences and even his competitors ever since. Singh’s loud personality and enthusiastic nature has definitely worked in his favour and he is more than humbled by the praise he has received. “When veterans like Govinda ji, Shah Rukh (Khan) sir, Bachchan (Amitabh Bachchan) sahab and Anil Kapoor say the things they have said about me… these are my achievements. I can۪t tell you the kind of pride I feel when I read what these guys have said about me. For me, I grew up watching them perform, and thinking, This is what I want to do with my life۪. When my work gets recognised by my idols, it۪s a big deal for me. It۪s an indescribable feeling,” the actor went onto add.

Singh has a number of projects lined up including, ‘Kill Dil’ which also stars Parineeti Chopra, Govinda and Ali Zafar.
