Ranveer Singh declines ‘Ram Lakhan’ remake?

News about the remake of the much-loved Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit starrer ‘Ram Lakhan’ (1989) has been doing the rounds for a while even though rumours about the cast have been in the news. Now, it’s emerged that Ranveer Singh has recently turned down the film.

A leading daily has said that the actor is not interested in the film which will be a two-hero one. He’s seen much success with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) and therefore isn’t looking for a double hero movie.

Other actors who were apparently considered in the past include Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and also Arjun Kapoor. It remains to be seen who actually land the roles of the main leads.
