Ranveer Singh confirms ‘Simmba’ to be franchise

When Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty first came together, it was for 2018 release ‘Simmba’ which was enjoyed by the audiences. The actor has now revealed that the film was to turn into a franchise.

“It was always intended to become a franchise. Whenever Rohit sir does make it, I will always be game because Simmba is my favourite character to play”, said Singh, talking to Bollywood Life.

Singh played his ‘Simmba’ character again in Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ and his appearance was appreciated. He has a fair few films upcoming including another collaboration with Shetty called ‘Cirkus’ which is expected to release this year.
