English Premier League confirms Ranveer Singh’s appointment as ambassador
The hugely popular Ranveer Singh has been confirmed as the first Indian brand ambassador of English Premier League.
According to New Indian Express, the actor will be working to support the League’s activities across India. The League has had an initiative called ‘Premier Skills’ ongoing since 2007 to promote the game of football in the sub-continent.

“Ranveer Singh is a passionate Premier League supporter who connects with fans across India and the world. His knowledge of the game and commitment to its development and growth, both domestically and internationally, is what has led to the creation of this partnership,” said Richard Masters, Premier League Managing Director.
Singh also said, “It is an honour to take on an ambassadorial role with the Premier League. I look forward to sharing my passion for football and hope that I can help develop and grow the fan base for the sport in India”.
The collaboration will also be strengthening the ties between the League and the Indian Super League.
The actor has posted images of visiting Arsenal Football Club’s home today and confirmed his partnership with the League too.
