Ranveer Singh chooses ‘Bajirao Mastani’ over ‘Shuddhi’

With two blockbusters scheduled to release around the same time, its a tricky time for the stars to choose also between ‘Shuddhi’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

According to latest buzz in Mumbai Mirror, Ranveer Singh has made his choice! He has selected Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period romance ‘Bajirao Mastani’ over Karan Johar’s love story ‘Shuddhi’.

Over the past few weeks, Singh has been linked to both films, however, with both filmmakers announcing the same release date for their respective movies, it has left the star to choose one over the other. Similarly, Deepia Padukone seems to be in the same issue after being associated with both movies.

Mumbai Mirror reports that Singh has opted for Bhansali mainly because he approached him first. The film goes on the floors later this year and he will be committed for 11 months to the big project.

It will be interesting to see who will take the leading role in ‘Shuddhi’ now that Singh is no longer in the race.
