Ranveer-Deepika no longer together?

There were rumours not long ago that Bollywood’s much loved real-life couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were on the verge of splitting up. However, source now seem to confirm that they have already moved on from each other.

Recently, Singh was seen taking Padukone for a ride in his new car and everyone thought this indicated that they are still very much on. However, a source tells Deccan Chronicle a very different story, “Ranveer and Deepika have been together for five years. They are no longer a couple. There was no bitter parting. They just drifted apart. They both tried to make it work with the help of their supportive families who wanted to ensure that the relationship made it to the altar. That was one of the problems with the relationship. Ranveer wanted a marriage. Deepika completely opposed the idea, arguing that marriage would affect her career at its prime”.

Sources also go on to say that Singh has never forceful on Padukone and always gave her the space she needed, “Even when they were shooting in separate continents, he would fly down to be with her whenever possible. He gave Deepika lots of space and never allowed any suspicion to creep in even when rumours of a relationship with Vin Diesel reached his ears”. Rumour has it that Singh has started dating another girl, the identity of who will remain under wraps.

Singh and Padukone will be seen next in ‘Padmavati’ which also stars Shahid Kapoor. It’s slated for release in November.
