Rani Mukerji seems to have avoided the limelight for quite some time recently, having made very few public appearances. ��The actress says she enjoys keeping to herself and also spoke about why she does not make use of the social media platform, which has become a popular way for celebrities to connect with their fans.
“Going to parties or �_making frequent public appearances … I have never done that, and I don�۪t intend to do that in the future either. When I am promoting my film, that�۪s the only time I am out there,” Mukerji told��Hindustan Times.
Regarding social networking, the actress said, “I am married to a person who is… probably even a little more private than I am, so there will be nothing for me to share on social media… if fans ask me about my life or his life or want to see our �_pictures, and I cannot even �_disappoint them because that�۪s also a responsibility … you are answerable to all the people who are following you.”
Last seen in ‘Mardaani’ (2014), which won her much acclaim and appreciation, Mukerji has not signed any films since. ��It is being rumoured that the actress will now be taking a break from the big screen to plan a family.
The actress��and filmmaker Aditya Chopra tied the knot in Italy last year. ��At present, the couple��are��apparently on a vacation to celebrate Mukerji’s 37th birthday.
