Rani Mukerji steps into Kajol’s role

When Karan Johar decided to make a short film, his first choice was best friend Kajol. However, when she turned it down, another Bollywood beauty came to his rescue.

According to Times of India,��Kajol would prefer doing a feature film with Johar instead. Upon hearing the spot open, Rani Mukerji swooped in and bagged the role herself.

Now though the two actresses have worked in a number of films together, they reportedly are not the best of friends. Let’s hope Kajol doesn’t end up regretting her decision.
