Rani Mukerji spokesperson on rejecting SLB’s next film

Rumours have been rife about Rani Mukerji’s much awaited comeback with some reports linking her to an upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.

Some had suggested that she had denied the popular filmmaker as she wasn’t keen on the script. At the time, a source had said, “SLB was very keen on having Rani on board. But since she didn’t want to play a similar character on the big screen again, he has now approached another actress.”

However, this is untrue. Rani Mukerji’s spokesperson said she would never reject a film by Bhansali.

In the statement published on Deccan Chronicle, the spokesperson for the actress said, “There is no truth to this at all. Rani Mukerji would never refuse a film from Bhansali. She is waiting for him to offer her something and she would do it in a flash. She is looking forward to working with him soon.”

Bhansali and Mukerji worked together previously in films like ‘Black’ (2005) and ‘Saawariya’ (2007).
