Rani – Aditya January wedding rumours denied

Are they? Aren’t they? Rumour and speculation about the Rani Mukerji-Aditya Chopra relationship go on and off like a light switch, it was recently revealed that the couple were set to wed early next year. However it has quickly been denied by her camp.

Apparently, Mukerji turned down a film that was due to start at the end of January due to other important commitments. From this, grew the anticipation of a wedding ceremony. Though this rumour has now been short lived, as Times of India report Mukerji’s spokesperson hit back, “there is absolutely no truth to any of these wedding date stories at all. Rani has repeatedly stated that when she does get married, it will be a time for much happiness for herself and her family. Till then, she would like all conjecture to be put to rest.”

Chopra and Mukerji’s alleged relationship has always been one of the fore-fronts of the media, where both have denied the link on several occasions. However, the couple seemed extremely close during the ceremonies that followed after the late Yash Chopra’s death, with the actress even being a part of the organisation, sparking further rumours. Despite this, neither of them have confirmed the relationship, let alone a wedding, and until then it seems like the rumours will be going round in circles.
