‘Rangoon’ passed by CBFC with UA certificate
Vishal Bhardwaj films are not always a breeze when gaining a certificate. However, it seems ‘Rangoon’, which releases next month, is different as it has gained a UA certificate.
Apparently, there will be five cuts made but otherwise it’s a UA. A source told Spotboye, “Rangoon is a very bold film but at no stage does it cross the line. The scenes rise to a daring level but smartly cease at a point, leaving us with no reason to induct any cuts”.
In 2014, ‘Haider’ for 14 cuts and a UA but previously Bhardwaj’s movies have been passed with A certificates.
