Randhir Kapoor: “Hope Taimur never gets affected by media craze around him”

With social media giving the public easy access to the lives of the rich and famous, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Taimur, is a social media favorite. Now despite it being rather harmless for now, the toddler’s grandfather expressed to the media that they want his childhood to be as normal as possible.

“I just hope he never gets affected by this media craze around him. We want Taimur to be as low on all these things as possible. We want him to have a normal upbringing and lead a regular life,” Times of India reports the Kapoor explaining.

He went on to add, “We don’t know what will happen when he grows up. But for as long as he’s a child, we want him to have his years of innocence and grow up like any other normal kid. The rest is his destiny.”

This is probably why the little one’s 1st birthday celebration are only consisting of his closest family members at his paternal grand father’s home in Pataudi. Without giving out any details about the party, Kapoor revealed, “It’s a family affair in Pataudi. We wanted this to be intimate and special for the little one, and that’s how we’re keeping it — simple, sweet and a lot of fun with all the children coming together. Taimur’s grandfather Mansoor saab is watching over everyone and showering them with blessings.”

Reminiscing about the time Tailur was born, the actor expressed, “I remember the sentiments we had a year ago at this time. We were waiting to know with bated breath who we’re welcoming home. And see, Taimur is already a year old! He’s handsome and has all my blessings and good wishes.”

Here’s wishing little Taimur a very Happy Birthday.
