Randhir Kapoor clarifies on daughter Karisma’s alleged marriage

Recent media speculation of Karisma Kapoor getting wed to alleged boyfriend Sandeep Toshniwal has caused fans to get excited. However Kapoor’s father, Randhir Kapoor, has clarified his eldest daughter is not planning on getting wed anytime soon and is in a happy place in her life.

Kapoor, who divorced her husband Sunjay Kapur in 2016, has been at the centre of marriage rumours after her he recently tied the knot. Coupled with the fact she has been spotted with Toshniwal at functions and parties, this added fuel to the fire.  However Indian Express reported an interview that her father clarified, “I think Lolo (Karisma) is very well settled and happy. I have never discussed the issue of marriage with her but if she does plan to, she will always have my blessings. But I don’t think she wants to get married.”

He also went on to add that the ‘Raja Hindustani’ (1996) actress, who had two children with her former husband, is an excellent mother.  “She is a happy mother and if she wants, she can get married any time but there is no step in that direction right now. She is happy the way she is. Lolo is an excellent mother who dotes on her children and probably doesn’t feel the need to get married”, he continued.

In addition he praised his youngest daughter, Kareena Kapoor Khan and her husband Saif Ali Khan stating “Kareena too is very settled today and Saif has kept her very happy. He is a wonderful son-in-law and a fine man”.

Looks like the Kapoor family are happy as they are and wedding rumours can be put to rest for the moment.
