Randeep Hooda’s next is a musical

Randeep Hooda has come a long way from his Bollywood debut in 2005 with ‘D’. Since then, he has played many supporting roles, but has received the most praise in the last year, with his performances in ‘Highway’ (2014) and ‘Kick’ (2013). He is ready to start his next film, a musical, ‘Do Lafzon Ki Kahani,’ which is being directed by Deepak Tijori.

Hooda will be playing a martial arts enthusiast in the film. According to Zee News, Hooda talked briefly about the film at the Mandate Magazine cover launch, where is he is featured. “We are going to start shooting for that film in April or May in Malaysia. It’s a love story. I play a mixed martial arts guy in it. It will be a musical and have many songs.”

The film will also star ‘Singham’ (2011) fame Kajal Aggarwal. Although 2014 was a good year for Hooda, it is yet to be determined if musicals are his forte.
