Randeep Hooda wants rid of “serious” image?

Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’ (2014) gave Randeep Hooda a chance to shine and his performance was appreciated by many. However, it seems the actor has taken it upon himself to now break away from the “serious” image that he seems associated with.

According to TOI, Hooda confirmed, “I always had a clear idea of the kind of films I would like to be a part of. Thankfully, I have managed to do those kinds of movies. Now, I want to experiment a little more than what I already have”.

Talking of whether he would be up for dancing too, the actor revealed, “I want to dive right in. I would like to mould myself to my director’s vision. I want to be challenged by my directors and will try to overcome each one of them. I don’t like things working out too easily. The minute I feel things are coming to me too effortlessly, I start feeling stuck”.

Hooda has seen much critical acclaim but maybe he feels he needs to show off his versatility.
