It has been evident in the news recently that the MNS (‘Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’), run by Raj Thackeray, ordered all Pakistani artistes to leave India within 48 hours, in the wake of the Uri attacks. The MNS also warned that they will not progress with the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ in the Maharashtra regions because it stars Fawad Khan.

According to Deccan Chronicle, Ranbir Kapoor was asked about his reactions to this, but Kapoor replied, I can speak about my film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Other than this I don’t know anything about other rumours.”

Karan Johar recently came outto state that this is not the solution to terrorism in India.

The film has faced much controversy in general with the clash release with Ajay Devgan’s ‘Shivaay’ and Kamaal R Khan saying he had received money to promote it.

The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
