Ranbir-Madhuri’s kiss in Ghagra took four takes

The recent unveiling of the song video of Ghagra from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is sure to have wowed audiences and critics. The song includes Ranbir Kapoor planting a peck on Madhuri Dixit-Nene’s cheek and the former has admitted that the kiss was not only his idea but that it took multiple takes to perfect.

Talking to Deccan Chronicle, Kapoor said, “I do not know if I would get such a chance in life again or not. The kissing scene took four retakes and must say that I have not done these retakes intentionally”.

He spoke further about Dixit-Nene, “They (my co-stars) are my friends. I work with them in films and perhaps that is the reason why people keep talking about us. My heart only beats for one woman and her name is Madhuri Dixit. Through this film, my childhood dream of dancing with her is fulfilled. I feel very lucky to work with her”.

Well it seems Kapoor’s dil is well and truly taken.
