Ranbir-Katrina off-screen love won’t help in selling ‘Jagga Jasoos’?

While there is a lot of buzz surrounding Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, producer, Siddharth Roy Kapur has said that they may not be enough to sell Anurag Basu’s next ‘Jagga Jasoos’, which stars the real-life couple.

Talking to DNA India, Siddharth said, “I don’t think so… The story helps sell a film better. It is Anurag (director Anurag Basu) and Ranbir coming together after “Barfi” so there is lot of excitement around the film and we too are excited about it.”

Siddharth also laughed at rumours of a rift between Kaif and Basu, he said, “It is hilarious as I was on the sets a day before this news came out. We all — Anurag, Ranbir and Katrina were having great time and next day, news that there is problem between them.” “It is good that there is buzz around the film as people are talking about the film so there is interest about the film.”

Kapoor and Kaif have previously starred in films like ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ and ‘Rajneeti’. ‘Jagga Jasoos’ releases in June 2016.
