Ranbir Kapoor ‘s film ‘Roy’ has been facing one delay after another since its inception and BizAsia has heard that the film has been postponed once again.
A source told Mid-Day, Shooting for the film was supposed to start in March, but it will only begin by end of this month. The first schedule is will span a period of 15-20 days and will take place in Mumbai. The second schedule will see the unit shoot for two months in South Africa. Due to this delay, the film will not release in September, instead it will release in February next year. This also means that the film will no longer clash with Anushka Sharma۪s NH10 and Shahid Kapoor۪s Haider.
Surprisingly, the first look of the film came out in August last year with the release date marked as 20th June 2014. Then the film was delayed to September. However, due to Kapoor’s hectic schedule in completing ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and ‘Bombay Velvet’, the film will be postponed further.
A new release date will be announced soon.
