Ranbir Kapoor’s next release to not be until 2020

Ranbir Kapoor’s next release ‘Brahmastra’ recently made headlines as director Ayan Mukerji needs more time to complete the film, but it looks like those dates started clashing with Kapoor’s Aditya Chopra produced ‘Shamshera’. ‘Brahmastra’ producer Karan Johar supposedly met with Chopra to adjust the dates which Chopra was happy to do, but with the delay of ‘Brahmastra’ Kapoor will not have a release till 2020.

A source said, “Ranbir’s dates for Shamshera were supposed to start after Bramhastra wrapped. But it seems Ayan requires more of Ranbir’s dates. Karan requested Adi for more time and he complied. Shamshera will now be completed in 2021,” as according to Asian Age. 

Kapoor was last seen in ‘Sanju’ (2018).
