Ranbir Kapoor’s next project different to ‘Krrish’ franchise

Despite his latest film ‘Besharam’ (2013) not doing too well at the box office, Ranbir Kapoor is keeping his head held high, and is moving on to preparing for his next projects. One of which, is a super heroic film that will be directed by Ayan Mukherjee. However the actor states that this film, is nothing like the Hrithik Roshan ‘Krrish” films.

“It is not like ‘Krrish 3’, it is something very different, it is going to be a fantasy film. It is going to be a trilogy which Ayan has just started writing. We share a great personal and professional relation,” NDTV reported the actor stating, when talking to reporters about the film.

The actor went onto reveal that the project is currently in it’s early stages where Mukherjee is still doing a bit of research, “Till now we are in developing stage, he (Mukherjee) is going abroad for a post production course. Hopefully, we will try and make something path-breaking.”

Until then Kapoor will be seen in other projects, including Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ where he is to play the role of a boxer. With so many diverse roles coming his way, it seems the young actor’s lucky stars aren’t about to run out any time soon.
