Ranbir Kapoor’s Kishore Kumar biopic back on track?

There’s been a lot written about Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor’s ambitious plans to make a biopic on the life of legendary singer, Kishore Kumar.

While there have been delays along the way, it now seems the project could be on track. In an interview with Aaj Tak, both Basu and Kapoor confirmed that the project was certainly viable and the latter denied reports that he had rejected the film due to date issues. He said that his dates are booked until March next year due to the Dutt biopic and then free after that.

Basu and Kapoor are currently in the midst of promotions for their next ‘Jagga Jasoos’. An official announcement on the Kishore Kumar biopic is yet to be made.
