Ranbir Kapoor’s brand value diminishing?

Ranbir Kapoor has always remained a popular choice with brands. However, it seems this is all changing with his films not doing too well at the all important box office. It seems his value as brand ambassador is not really staying as high as it once was.

“Ranbir desperately needs his Dutt biopic to do well if his position as a brand ambassador for products needs to change for the better. All Ranbir needs is a box office super hit and he will be back,” a media observer told Deccan Chronicle.

Kapoor’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ (2016) and ‘Jagga Jasoos’ (2017) haven’t fared as well as expected and even though the actor’s acting ability is never questioned, he hasn’t been able to deliver a hit and that seems to have made some brands change their tactics.

The actor has reportedly been asked to decrease his price to renew an ad deal whereas other actors within the generation seem to be seen hiking their prices. If the Sanjay Dutt biopic doesn’t do well for the actor, it seem he might be in quite some soup in terms of endorsements.
