Ranbir Kapoor ups his security?

Spotted recently as the launch of Pritish Nandy’s latest book, Ranbir Kapoor’s appearance came with a huge crowd, as would have been expected. Following the event, it is thought Kapoor has asked his security team to increase their awareness and stature.

According to the Deccan Chronicle, Kapoor attended the event with two bodyguards in tow but they weren’t enough to stop his from being mobbed by the crowd. A member of Kapoor’s team divulges, “After the launch, when Ranbir was trying to make his way to his car, a huge crowd mobbed him. His security personnel did their bit to bail him out of the situation. Yet it took him 20 minutes to get to his car. The love and adulation is what every actor craves for but this experience was a tad bit scary”.

His team member further added, “He is the current heartthrob, so such incidents are natural. But to avoid any such mishap, we have hired more bodyguards for Ranbir�۪s security”.
