Ranbir Kapoor to turn co-producer

Although rumours of Ranbir Kapoor’s hand at reviving the RK banner have gone quiet, it seems the actor may be trying his hand at co-production sooner than planned.

It is thought that the project with be co-produced, directed and written by Anurag Basu and will see Kapoor play detective. An anonymous source told Hindustan Times, “Anurag is still working on the script, and is in touch with Ranbir about the storyline. The film is kind of Sherlock Holmes-meets-James Bond-meets-Mission Impossible”. It is likely the film will go on the floors early next year.

Well is seems this 30-year-old is definitely going places and no doubt this project will be one to look out for.
