Ranbir Kapoor to star in ‘Don 3’?

With speculation rife over Shah Rukh Khan opting for Yash Raj Films’ ‘Dhoom 4’, it has been reported that Ranbir Kapoor may step into the titular role to take ‘Don 3’ forward.

DNA India reports that Farhan Akhtar is planning to rope Kapoor in as the protagonist for the action thriller. However, neither Akhtar or Kapoor have commented on the rumours. Kapoor is currently working on ‘Brahmastra’ in Varanasi.

There has been a long wait for Khan to announce his next project. It was reported previously that he was to announce his upcoming film this month but so far things have been relatively quiet. Aside from ‘Dhoom 4’, Khan has also been linked to Rajkumar Hirani’s next. He is currently working on the second season of ‘Ted Talks’ for Star Plus.
