Ranbir Kapoor to revive RK Films?

Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the finest actors of our time, however, the actor is not experiencing a great time at the Box Office recently. Rumour has it that Kapoor is planning on reviving the RK Films banner, which has been inactive for quite some time now.

A source informed DNA India, “At this juncture, he is looking at whether he wants to both direct and act, because that may be too much of a responsibility all at one go. He may just act in the RK film and let one of his friends direct the project.”

Established by Raj Kapoor, the RK Films banner was responsible for churning out a number of Bollywood classics. However, its last film, Rishi Kapoor’s ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ (1999), failed to work.

Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’ (2015). He will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
