Ranbir Kapoor to play Sanjay Dutt?

Yesterday, BizAsia reported that there was talk of a biopic to be made on the life of Sanjay Dutt. Now, it has emerged that Ranbir Kapoor is favourite to be the part.

The film is said have Rajkumar Hirani as director. It was suggested that Dutt and wife Manyata were keen to have him on board. If Kapoor is roped in to�� play the 54-year-old, no doubt this will be a movie of spectacular proportions as Kapoor�۪s performance will never fail to impress and Hirani�۪s value in Indian cinema is known well.

Dutt returned to jail last week to serve the remainder of his sentence for his involvement in the possession of weapons related to the the 1993 bomb blasts. He was on parole due to Manyata�۪s ill-health.
