After a successful stage performance with his dad Rishi Kapoor Bollywood۪s upcoming heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor will now be soon be seen grooving with his mum Neetu Singh for the first time ever at the Colors Screen Awards ceremony taking place this weekend.
“I will be performing with my mother for the first time. She is nervous for the performance. The rehearsals have not started at the moment, but will start today,” Kapoor said at a press conference.
After his commendable performance as Murphy۪ in his Last film venture Barfi (2012)۪ the actor is hopeful he will be able to create a similar magic with his mother with performances on some of the Kapoor family’s popular songs.
The young Kapoor will also be seen sharing screen space on celluloid with both his parents in this forthcoming release Besharam (2013)۪. I am working with my parents in Besharam۪ too. They are not playing my parents in the film. They are just playing two interesting characters, he confirmed at a recent press conference.
‘Besharam (2013)’ will be Abhinav Kashyap’s second film, after making his directorial debut with ‘Dabangg’. The film, featuring newbie Pallavi Sharda opposite the young Kapoor, is scheduled to release in October this year.
The actor۪s last film Barfi (2012)۪ has also been nominated in 17 different categories at the Colors Screen Awards.
