Ranbir Kapoor sees Sanjay Dutt’s vulnerable side

Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy shooting for the Sanjay Dutt biopic. While both the actor’s families have been close friends for decades, Kapoor says he has only gotten to know Dutt’s vulnerable side while working on this project.

Kapoor told Absolute India, “I knew him superficially, but after reading the script and talking to him I got to know him in a much deeper sense. What pinched me the most was that after reading the script he said ‘You have portrayed my whole life in this movie’ and he cried. He has managed a strong face throughout his hardships, so watching him this vulnerable was very difficult for me. He is an honest man and was very cooperative while putting minute personal details about his life into the film.”

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who is a good friend of Dutt, the biopic will also star Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor.
